“You’re Not Talking About Dogs”

A few days ago, Kelly Carney, daughter of dog track owner George, finally admitted the truth:

In her family, greyhounds are not considered dogs.

That’s right, in a recent debate with Kara Holmquist of the MSPCA, Ms. Carney informed listeners that greyhounds are different, and don’t deserve the same protections as other dogs.

“Excuse me, but you’re not talking about dogs. You’re talking about greyhound racing pets right now. We’re not talking about housepets”.

We must overcome this kind of thinking with our humane message of common sense and compassion. And only you can help us do this.
